Are you
planning on marching with the 2008 Rocket Marching Band?
The 2008 Rocket Marching Band
season is sure to be an exciting one, with performances at
all six home games in the Glass Bowl, as well an away
performance in the Big House in Ann Arbor when the
Rockets take on the Michigan Wolverines! Other
performances will include an encore performance at the Glass
City Festival of Bands, and a possible road trip to Western
Michigan, among others.
If you will be marching in the fall, please complete the online
Intent to March form NOW so
that we may begin the planning process. Be sure to register for
Rocket Marching Band (MUS 3010 001) for 1 credit hour when you
sign up for classes.
More details about the upcoming season (including band camp
dates) will be sent out soon! In the meantime, please do not
hesitate to contact the band office with any questions.

Search for
next director of the Rocket Marching Band now underway
The University of Toledo
Department of Music is currently interviewing candidates for the
position of Assistant Director of Bands and Director of the
Rocket Marching Band for the 2008-2009 academic year. The
individual selected will replace Carl Collins, who has completed
the final year of a three-year appointment as Visiting Assistant
Professor in the Department of Music. More information will be
released as soon as the search process has been concluded. |
