Auditions for The
University of Toledo Dancing Rock-ets take place over two
consecutive weekends. Attendance is required at both auditions.
However, exceptions can be made if worked out in advance with
the coach.
Please complete the University Band
Prospective Member Form.
Auditions are located in the dance studio on the second floor of
the
Health Education Building, UT Main Campus.
April 12th,
2008: 9am-12pm
Clinic
Day
-
During this clinic day, the auditioners will learn the
audition routine, progressions, technique and tricks that
will be used for the auditioning day.
-
This is a relaxed day, and is meant to be helpful so that
the girls can have FUN during auditions!

Suggested level of ability:
-
Pirouettes: double (at
least)

Fuoettes and turns in a
la seconde
-
Split leaps, switch
leaps, and calypsos
-
Kickline with variations
(straight, fans, jump splits)

Toe-touch, axle turns,
and torches
April 19th,
2008: 9am-1pm
Audition
Day
-
During this time the girls will audition the material they
learned at the previous clinic day. If a girl was unable to
make the clinic day, they are expected to catch on quickly
and do their best.

Please wear form-fitting attire, hair pulled back,
appropriate jazz shoes, and bring plenty of water.
-
The auditioners will be judged on dancing ability,
technique, and showmanship. The judges will also recognize
and take into account potential for improvement.
